Start with the purpose of the opening: balcony protection, bird control or a cable grill with less visual weight. The material, spacing and fixing method need to suit that purpose. Share photos of the space so the opening and attachment surfaces can be assessed before a fitting is recommended.
How much does safety net installation cost?
The estimate depends on the measured opening, material specification, access, fixing surfaces and finishing details. Ask for the price unit, included installation work and total in writing so you can compare the scope clearly.
Do you install safety nets in my city?

Will the fitting affect the view or airflow?
The appearance depends on the mesh size, strand or cable thickness, colour, lighting and distance from the opening. Nets and cable grills leave open space between their strands; compare the finish and discuss your view, ventilation and cleaning needs when planning the fitting.
Are pigeon nets suitable for children or pets?
Bird control and child or pet protection are different requirements. A net selected to exclude birds should not be assumed suitable for another purpose. Explain how the space is used so the material and fixing can be assessed. Netting does not replace a sound railing or supervision.
What should I share when requesting an estimate?
