Assessment for an observed entry problem
Plan a complete exclusion boundary around the way your home is used.

If monkeys are actually entering your property, the first step is to understand the approach and the opening that needs protection. EverSafe assesses monkey-exclusion netting in Chennai for balconies, terrace openings and other suitable spaces, from ₹30/sq ft including installation. Material choice, fixing surfaces and the complete boundary are reviewed together.
Assess the situation
Tell us what you have observed from a safe place: where the animal approaches, which opening it uses and whether any existing barrier has been displaced. We do not assume a monkey problem because a home is near trees or because of its Chennai neighbourhood.
A safe photograph showing the surrounding wall, parapet or pipe route helps explain how the animal reaches the space. Do not move closer or offer food to obtain a photograph.
Include the top, sides and adjoining opening. A net across the main face alone may leave another route that needs a different closure.
Show any displaced fittings, cut or torn mesh and altered building surfaces. The condition of what is already there matters more than its original product name.
System selection
Monkey-exclusion work needs a suitable product and a fixing design for the observed situation. A thicker-looking net is not proof that the material, border, attachment and supporting surface can work together for that purpose. We discuss available materials and specifications after assessment.
| Part of the system | What to agree | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|
| Net material and construction | The product intended for the exclusion task | Any ordinary bird net is suitable |
| Mesh opening | Aperture appropriate to the required boundary | One size works for every animal and opening |
| Panel edges and connections | How the whole boundary will be attached | A thick centre panel compensates for loose sides |
| Supporting surface | Condition and suitability of the proposed fixing points | Old hooks and plaster remain usable indefinitely |
A clear starting point
From ₹30/sq ft including installation for the confirmed specification and scope. A qualifying 100 sq ft starting-rate example is ₹3,000.
Your space, your starting budget
Use the width and height of one net or grill face, rather than the balcony floor area. Add other faces to the final enquiry.
Installation is included in the starting scope. The selected product, complete coverage, access and any agreed additional work determine the final quote.
The starting price does not promise a particular load rating or suitability for every property. Repairs, patches, replacement panels and reattachment are assessed and priced separately.
Available options
Nylon, HDPE and other net products can be discussed, including available branded options. Selection must be tied to the intended exclusion work. A brand name, a mesh colour or an unsupported “heavy-duty” label is not a load rating or a guarantee against damage.
Custom panel dimensions can fit an opening, while mesh aperture and construction address different requirements. Ask for both to be recorded.
Darker or lighter mesh changes appearance. It does not change the need for suitable material, edge closure and separation from normal household use.
If a strength or test claim is important to your project, ask for evidence for the actual product and complete proposed system. We do not advertise a universal load capacity here.
Supporting the closure
A complete installation depends on the surfaces to which it is attached. Existing corroded metal, weak plaster, cracked masonry and restricted drilling areas should be identified before a layout is accepted. More ties on an unsuitable surface do not solve the underlying problem.
Previous holes or hooks may not be suitable for a revised system. Decide on reuse only after checking the surface and the proposed attachment.
The boundary must account for adjoining panels and changes of direction. Any opening left for equipment or movement requires an intentional closure.
For Chennai outdoor work, discuss rain, sun, visible corrosion and any direct coastal exposure at the property. A postcode alone should not determine the material or fixing choice.

Keep the property usable
A terrace enclosure can affect access to tanks, clothes drying, doors and service equipment. A balcony boundary can affect windows and cleaning. Agree on necessary access before fitting so that later users do not have to cut or pull the net aside.
An opening that must be used needs a suitable closure and a person responsible for securing it afterwards. A flap left open defeats the purpose of the boundary.
Do not block required exits, service clearances, equipment ventilation or routes needed by the building team.
Confirm who can approve external fixings and whether the proposed line affects neighbours or common areas. Installation planning should include the authorised contact.

People and wildlife
Our netting service concerns a suitable property boundary. It is not wildlife capture, handling, relocation or emergency animal response. If an animal is inside, trapped, injured or behaving aggressively, keep people clear and seek help from the appropriate wildlife authority or rescue professionals before any opening is closed.
The installation must not confine an animal behind the net. Tell us about active entry or animals already inside before scheduling work.
Do not feed or entice wildlife for testing, photographs or reassurance. Keep food and waste managed as part of ordinary property care.
Do not approach, corner or try to push an animal away with the net. The priority is distance and suitable professional help, not an improvised repair.
From assessment to handover
Some properties need a different barrier, surface repairs or changes to the proposed boundary before netting is appropriate. We explain the scope and any limitations, then agree on the installed estimate and access arrangements.
Send safe photographs, your locality and floor, the openings involved and any earlier work or damage.
Confirm the product, mesh, perimeter, surfaces and access closures. Necessary building repairs or professional design input should be identified before fitting.
Timing depends on access, opening count, preparation, weather and whether the space is clear of animals. We confirm a practical schedule after review.
Check the agreed edges and access arrangements together, record the supplied specification and know how to request an inspection if the installation changes.
Budget with the full boundary
The starting price is ₹30/sq ft including installation. For 100 sq ft of qualifying measured coverage, the starting-rate example is ₹3,000. The proposed specification, surface condition and complete panel layout decide the final estimate.
Front, side and overhead faces may each add coverage. Floor area alone does not describe the netting required around an opening.
If surfaces need repair or extra access is needed, those requirements must be discussed before confirming the work and price.
A small reattachment visit and a new multi-panel installation have different costs. Ask for the proposed work and its full amount, rather than applying the starting square-foot rate to every repair.
Existing barriers
We assess damaged nets, previous installations and panels removed for other work. Repairs, patches and reattachment may be possible where the remaining material and supporting surfaces are suitable. A damaged barrier should not be relied on while awaiting assessment.
A confined defect may have a repair option, but the cause and surrounding material must be checked. Repeated tearing can indicate a wider suitability problem.
After painting or equipment replacement, review the full line and access closure. Reusing the former arrangement without checking changed surfaces can leave a weak point.
Widespread wear, several detached edges or an unsuitable original product may justify replacing a panel or redesigning the boundary. We explain that choice before pricing it.
Use and follow-up
A monkey-exclusion net is not automatically a certified child guard, worker fall-arrest system, pet enclosure or burglar-resistant barrier. Discuss any additional purpose separately. Keep the original structural railing and other required building protections in place.
Watch for loose borders, missing fittings, openings and damaged mesh after interference or weather. Arrange a professional check instead of leaning outside to retension it.
Do not climb, hang from, load or deliberately expose the net to an animal to test it. A photograph of the product does not certify its capacity.
Retain the agreed specification, scope and any product or installation warranty terms. Inspection needs and exclusions should be understood at handover.
Chennai and nearby coverage
We assess the actual situation at the property. The localities below describe coverage only and are not evidence of monkey activity in those neighbourhoods. If an animal needs rescue or handling, seek the appropriate wildlife professional first.
Share the opening and safe observations of the route; proximity to a tree or the coast alone does not establish the required treatment.
Tell us which balcony or terrace faces are involved and which access routes must remain available.
Include old netting, existing supports and the property contact who can approve the work.
Make an informed choice
The starting rate is ₹30/sq ft including installation within the confirmed scope. Material, perimeter, surface condition, access and the number of panels determine the final estimate. A 100 sq ft starting-rate example is ₹3,000.
Not necessarily. Tell us about actual entry or interference at the property. We do not assume a problem based on the locality or nearby trees, and netting must be assessed against the observed situation.
That should not be assumed. The intended product, mesh, perimeter, attachment and supporting surfaces need a separate assessment. A thicker-looking net alone does not establish suitability.
We can discuss nylon, HDPE, other available net products and branded options, with custom panel dimensions and different mesh openings. The final selection should be identified in the estimate for the actual exclusion task.
No universal damage-proof claim is made. Suitability depends on the product and full installation as well as the situation. Report damage or loose sections and do not rely on a deteriorated barrier.
The boundary should be planned around necessary doors, tanks and service routes. Any opening needs a suitable closure and a clear way to secure it again after use. Required exits and equipment access must remain available.
Do not close an opening around an animal. Keep people clear and seek appropriate wildlife or rescue assistance first. Our installation service is not animal capture, handling or relocation.
That is a separate safety requirement and must not be inferred from monkey exclusion. Keep structural railings and existing required protections in place, and discuss the intended child or pet safety use explicitly.
We assess previous work for patching, reattachment and panel replacement. Reuse depends on the product, damage and supporting surfaces. Repair scope and price are confirmed separately.
Possibly, after checking the net, old fittings and the condition of the repainted or repaired surfaces. A changed wall or access layout may require a revised attachment rather than simply reusing the former holes.
Measure the actual closure faces, including side returns and overhead panels when part of the plan. The balcony or terrace floor area is not necessarily the same as the installed net area.
The schedule depends on site suitability, panel count, preparation, safe access, weather and whether the space is clear of animals. We confirm likely timing after assessment.
No. Inspect visible borders and mesh from a safe position after interference, other building work or weather-related changes. Arrange a check for detached fittings, corrosion, holes or loose edges.
Ask for the written terms and product details for the actual installation. If a test or strength rating is required, obtain evidence for the proposed system. We do not claim one load capacity or warranty duration for every net.
From your first photo to the final fitting
Send safe photographs of the opening, existing barrier and surrounding approach, plus your Chennai locality. Tell us if an animal is currently inside; exclusion work must not trap it.
