Madhapur and the IT corridor
For a home with full-height windows or a balcony off the living room, include sill access, handles and nearby furniture in the photos.
Home openings • child-focused assessment
Assess reachable windows, balconies and landings. Choose protection for each opening while keeping supervision, sound guards and everyday precautions in place.

EverSafe helps Hyderabad families assess reachable balcony, window and landing openings before choosing children safety nets. Installed netting starts at ₹25 per sq ft. We look at furniture, existing guards and each fixing surface so the proposal addresses the home your child actually uses.
Start at home
A moved bed, a stool or a new climbing habit can change a child's access. EverSafe checks the room's everyday arrangement before the opening.
Photograph beds, sofas, low cabinets, chairs and toy storage near windows or balcony doors. Include the objects that are brought out during play rather than only the permanent furniture.
Look at handles, sills, railing gaps, side returns and access latches. Tell us which openings are regularly left open and which adults need to operate them.
Bedrooms and living rooms
Low windows, full-height glazing and a sill beside a bed deserve a separate discussion from the balcony. Window screens keep insects out but are not fall-prevention guards. Review the opening mechanism and existing safety hardware before deciding whether any additional net or guard is appropriate.
| Window detail | What to check | Decision to make |
|---|---|---|
| Reachable sill or handle | Furniture access and how far the sash opens | Suitable guard or restrictor and everyday access control. |
| Sliding or casement movement | Travel, hinge side, handles and existing screen tracks | A separate fixing layout that permits intended operation. |
| Glass or light window frame | The actual supporting structure behind the finish | Whether a separate assessed structural fixing line is required. |
| Cleaning or emergency opening | How authorised adults must use the window | Protection that preserves the required access route. |
Do not treat glass, insect-screen tracks or a thin window profile as a load-bearing fixing base without assessment.
Price, product and complete scope
Installed netting starts at ₹25 per sq ft. A measured scope identifies each opening, the selected specification and any additional protection needed.
Work out a starting budget
Use the width and height of one net or grill face, rather than the balcony floor area. Add other faces to the final enquiry.
Installation is included in the starting scope. The selected product, complete coverage, access and any agreed additional work determine the final quote.
Confirm transport, taxes and separately scoped work in the written quotation. Repairs, patches and previous-work reattachment have separate condition-based pricing. The starting rate is not a human-load rating or a blanket child-proof claim.
Balcony openings
A balcony check includes the structural railing, spaces below it, wall junctions and the route from the room. Supplemental mesh cannot correct a damaged guard by itself. If a railing is loose or otherwise unsuitable, make that part of the discussion before netting is quoted.
Small openings can remain below the main panel or beside the wall. The layout should identify each accessible edge and how the proposed coverage connects to a sound supporting line.
Chairs, plant stands, storage boxes and drying racks can create a route up to the edge. Their placement remains important after fitting; the net is not a substitute for keeping that route clear.

Duplexes and internal openings
A staircase has several issues: the open side, gaps around a landing, the handrail and the child's route onto the steps. Review them individually. Mesh across one open side does not control the stair entrance or replace a suitable structural guard.
Show both ends of a stair flight, any intermediate landing and the open edge. Angles, wall changes and a sloping border affect measurement and fixing. Keep handrails usable and reachable fixings free of sharp edges or loose cords.
A stairwell or atrium cover requires assessment for its intended loading and supports. Do not use ordinary household or bird mesh as a walkable deck, catching platform or assumed human fall-arrest net.
Material and support
Multiple polymers, twine constructions, mesh openings and panel sizes are available, but a product name alone cannot establish child-safety suitability. The material, border, fixings and supporting structure must be considered together for the stated application.
Record the material, mesh opening, twine construction, border system and hardware. Where performance evidence is needed, it should apply to the intended use and relevant installation, not an unrelated net roll.
The largest accessible opening includes edges and any movement or deformation of the material. A tightly drawn picture or mesh-size label does not describe every condition.
Installation detail
A child-focused installation deserves a careful perimeter review because the centre panel is only one part of it. Concrete, masonry, finished walls and existing metalwork may require different approaches. The final method follows the supporting structure and approved fixing locations.
Share concealed-service information, waterproofed surfaces and any drilling restrictions. Decorative plaster, tiled finishes or loose existing hooks should not simply be accepted as suitable supports.
Window cleaning and equipment service may require an opening. Agree a suitable closure, its position and adult operation rather than relying on a loosely tied removable corner. Review edge gaps and the closure together at handover.

Choose by purpose
Explain pet, bird and appearance requirements early, including smaller escape gaps and maintenance points that must stay accessible.
| Your situation | Useful next comparison | What remains essential |
|---|---|---|
| Several reachable home openings | Children safety assessment | A separate decision for windows, balcony and stairs. |
| Only one balcony opening | Balcony safety nets | A suitable material and complete boundary for the stated purpose. |
| A slim architectural finish | Invisible cable grills | Clear gaps, cable movement, supporting structure and intended performance. |
| A climbing or chewing pet | Pet safety nets | The actual animal's size and behaviour. |
| Pigeons entering an opening | Pigeon safety nets | Complete bird exclusion; no assumed human fall-protection rating. |
Continue adult supervision and appropriate access control whatever combination is chosen.
From enquiry to handover
Send inside photos of each opening and the route to it, with your locality and floor. Share owner or association conditions before accepting a fixing proposal.
Identify the bedroom window, living-room balcony, stair side or landing that needs review. Note what opens, what is already guarded and what maintenance access is needed.
Review the measured areas, selected material and hardware, preparation, any separate guard recommendation and installation access. Keep any unresolved structural issue visible in the proposal.
Installed quotation
Installed children safety netting starts at ₹25 per sq ft. An illustrative total of 100 sq ft is ₹2,500 at the starting rate. The measured faces and agreed specification determine the firm quote; small windows, angled stairs and long balcony panels may require different work.
The accepted quotation should state the chosen net, border, fixing hardware and installation. Ask how transport, taxes and any preparation or special access are handled.
A frame, window guard, restrictor, stair gate or structural repair is a separate requirement when needed. Do not assume the net price includes or replaces it.
Care as the home changes
As children grow and rooms change, review the installation alongside locks, guards and furniture placement. Follow product care instructions and arrange assessment when supports or panels are disturbed.
EverSafe can review damaged nets, patches and reattachment of previous installations. Share the original specification and photographs if available. The material and supporting base determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate.
Slack, tears, loose hooks, cracked fixing surfaces and an access closure that no longer works need attention. Keep children away from the affected opening until it is assessed; avoid a temporary tie as the long-term solution.
Hyderabad and nearby coverage
Share the rooms and openings you want assessed, with your locality and floor. Photographs of the usual furniture arrangement help prepare the visit.
For a home with full-height windows or a balcony off the living room, include sill access, handles and nearby furniture in the photos.
If a duplex landing or several rooms need attention, list each zone separately and share owner or association fixing conditions.

Make an informed choice
Installed children safety netting starts at ₹25 per sq ft. The final quotation depends on the net specification, measured openings, borders, surface condition and access. Separate guards, restrictors, frames or repairs are identified where needed instead of being assumed within a generic net rate.
No product should be treated as suitable for both simply because it is called a safety net. Bird mesh is intended for exclusion and is not evidence of tested human fall protection. A child-focused proposal needs the actual intended use, appropriate product information, supporting fixings and complete gap assessment.
No. Maintain supervision, controlled access and a sound appropriate structural guard. Netting is only part of the plan and must not be used as a climbing surface or as permission to leave a child alone at an opening. Defective railings require separate attention.
Yes. Share the bedroom window, sill, handles and nearby furniture along with the balcony photographs. A suitable guard or opening restrictor may be more appropriate for a particular window. Window operation, cleaning and required emergency access must be considered before choosing fixed coverage.
Ordinary insect screens are not fall-prevention guards. Do not rely on a mesh screen or its sliding track to support a child. Discuss the actual window with an appropriate guard or restrictor assessment, and keep furniture that enables access away from the opening.
Furniture and movable objects can make an otherwise difficult-to-reach opening accessible. A child may also move a small stool or use drawers as steps. Include the normal room arrangement in your photos, then keep climbable objects away from windows and balcony edges after installation.
These areas can be assessed individually, including the stair angle, open side, handrail and fixing base. Guarding the side and controlling entry to the stairs are different requirements. A suitable stair gate or structural guard may be needed alongside, or instead of, netting.
Do not assume a household net is a walkable cover or a fall-arrest system. A horizontal void and a vertical infill have different loading and support requirements. Explain the intended use and obtain appropriate assessment and evidence before treating any cover as protection from a fall.
There is no universal answer based on a material name or photograph. The product, clear openings, accessible edges, possible deformation, supporting fixings and intended use must be assessed together. Ask for relevant product information and any evidence needed for the proposed application.
Tell us the animal's size and whether it climbs, scratches or chews. A child-focused layout may leave a pet escape route or use a material unsuitable for that animal. A separate pet-containment specification or compatible additional coverage may be more appropriate.
Any proposed access section needs a suitable closure, position and operating arrangement considered against child reach. The responsible adults should understand how it closes after use. A loose flap or a simple temporary tie is not a substitute for a planned access detail.
Yes, existing installations can be assessed for repair, replacement or reattachment. Keep children away from a damaged or disturbed opening while it is checked. Share the original specification if available; the suitability of previous material and hardware cannot be established from appearance alone.
Confirm owner approval and any association conditions for drilling, appearance and access before booking. Share them with the enquiry, especially if there are restrictions near windows or structural slabs. The proposed method and any future removal should be agreed for that property.
Follow the product's care instructions and regularly review mesh, corners, border connections, hardware and access closures. Arrange a fresh assessment after impact, painting or window work, and when furniture or child behaviour changes. Report slack, damage or movement promptly rather than relying on a temporary tie.
